Middle Tennessee State University’s Department of Political Science and International Relations seeks applications for a full time, tenure-track faculty position (#128160) in International Relations at the assistant/associate professor rank. Start date for this position is August 1, 2018.
The ideal candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in international relations, graduate level courses in peace and security studies, and coordinate the department’s Model UN program. Faculty are also expected to maintain an active research agenda.
Located on a growing campus of approximately 22,000 students, MTSU is 35 miles outside of Nashville. Our Department of Political Science and International Relations consists of 15 full-time faculty and 325 majors with undergraduate degrees in political science with special concentrations in pre-law and public administration, and an undergraduate degree in international relations and a Master’s program in International Affairs. The Master’s program, with a current enrollment of 25 students, offers concentrations in Peace and Security, and International Development and Globalization.
