We have an exceptional career opportunity for a traveling Executive Chef 2 to support our team in the TN/KY area. This is a Resource or Operations Support Position. As a Resource Manager, the selected candidate will be eligible to post to permanent Sodexo positions.
Our Executive Chef 2 will manage all of our culinary operations at accounts where assigned by providing safe, wholesome and innovative food to our patients, customers (retail and catering) as well as hospital employees in a variety of settings. The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel as needed throughout the district and the southeastern region, be willing to live within the TN/KY district and accept a position within this district when the opportunity presents itself.
Our Executive Chef 2 will be responsible for managing the culinary operations for all food outlets including patient dining, cafe, cafe on the go and catering services.
Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution.
Implements & coordinates the culinary function.
Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.
Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.
Manages catering & retail areas.
Customer & Client satisfaction.
Financial management to include food cost & labor management.
Manages food & physical safety programs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
