Accountemps has an immediate need for a talented PT Bookkeeper for 15 - 20 hours/week. This Bookkeeper role is a great opportunity for candidates with prior A/P, A/R, General ledger, and Payroll experience. What you get to do every day:

• Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits

• Accounts Payable

• Manage a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

• Organize files and put systems on place

• Support quality archived records by filing documents

• Payroll (up to 10 employees)

• Prior experience working with accounting software

• 5+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper

• BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

• Accounts receivable experience highly desired

• Comprehensive knowledge of full charge bookkeeping

• Proven knowledge of payroll

• Foundational knowledge in accounts payable

• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel

• Command of QuickBooks
